When I saw the theme 'found objects' the first thing that came to mind was seed heads. I decided to make a little hedgehog using a teasle. I used black headed pins for eyes and a black bead for the nose.
I covered a cream tag with fabric and lace, and added a picture of Mrs Tiggy-winkle. On another tag I printed an excerpt from the Beatrix Potter story where Mrs Tiggy-winkle returns to being just a hedgehog. The tags are joined with half a pink shoe lace and finished off with a silver safety pin (as used by Mrs T. in the story). The teasle, still on its stalk, is just pushed through the holes and being ptickly it stays there without glue.
Now I'm off to see what you have all found this week!
Love Jane xx
